Mitre Trimmers

Mitre trimmers are fantastic tools for building frames, used to give the perfect mitre finish to the sawn ends of moulding, removing the need for filling or “touch ups”
To use a mitre trimmer, first cut the moulding slightly “too long” with a mitre saw. Place the length of moulding against the appropriate fence and remove thin shavings until the correct length is reached. The shearing cut produces an almost glass-like finish on even the toughest end grain, leaving perfect vertical and angled mitres.
