Choose from multiple styles
Aperture Mount & Frame
Typically a traditional type of Framing style, your artwork is protected by a mount which creates a border between the artwork and the frame. The style of mount can be use in a number of ways to create an impactful piece.
Flat Float Mount & Frame
This style is ideal for showing the entire piece of Artwork, especially when the artwork has tapered edges which add to the effect of the framed piece.
Shadow Float mount & Frame
Similar to the Flat float but the Artwork is lifted by foam core giving the visual effect that it is floating in the frame. This is a Popular way to make your artwork a real statement.
Shadow Mount & Frame
A shadow Mount is created by using two mounts with a foam core between them to create a gap. This additional depth draws the viewer into the artwork and gives it another dimension.
Straight To Frame
For straight forward framing or when the artwork is particularly large, this technique is used when artwork wrinkling can be seen. By using this method along with dry mounting it helps prevent cockling and gives a perfect flat appearance.
Box Frame
A box frame is typically used when framing items of depth. Wooden spacers or mount colour matching spacers are used to line the inside of the frame. By doing this it creates enough room to accommodate the item you wish to frame.
Canvas Stretched
When a canvas is stretched over stretcher bars and pinned in place at the back of the stretcher bar, there are two main ways to do this:
Gallery wrap: The image is stretched around the edge.
White edge wrap: The image is visible to the edge, but the edges are left unpainted or taped white to give a clean appearance.
Canvas Stretched & Float frame
A float frame is when a stretched canvas is placed in an L shaped frame to give it a framed border. Like normal frames, Float frames come in many different styles and have the ability to create amazing results.

Regular Glass
2mm Float glass is perfect for all standard framing and is ideal for low cost glazing.
Art Glass
Artglass also known as AR70 Is a specialised glass designed to reduce reflection and provides 70% UV protection against harmful rays.
Hanging Fixings
D-Rings
D-rings and cord are used to create a hanging point on the back of the frame.
The cord stretches from one side of the frame to the other, giving you the option to hang it from one point in the middle or two points spaced evenly apart.
Security Fittings
Security fixings are ideal for when Artwork is being displayed in a public area or private accommodation rooms.
In order to remove the frame it works by using a T shaped security screw with a T-screw spanner, this slips behind the frame and when turned it locks into the slotted plate which holds it securely.
To release, simply use the spanner to unlock the screw.
Strap Hangers
Strap hangers are used on heavier or larger frames where extra support is needed. For best results, it is advisable to have two points of connection on the wall in order to evenly distribute the weight load.
Table top & Standing
For smaller frames where you would like them to be standing on a surface as opposed to hanging. A table top stand is a perfect solution.

If you have artwork that is too oversized or you just don’t have enough time to get into see us, then why not book in for our home collection and delivery service? Our friendly driver Grant will be on hand to make sure your artwork is carefully transported to our framing facility.
All Artwork on our Van is fully insured from the moment it leaves your house to the second it arrives back with you.

For any original artwork be it valuable or sentimental your precious artwork is safe with our expert framers. All of our framers follow a strict training schedule which allows our Production manager to allocate work to framers depending on their skill level.
This means that for high value pieces you will only ever get a top level framer working on your order.
Also for peace of mind all of the work we do is covered under our comprehensive insurance. If you do happen to have an expensive piece of Artwork then be sure to mention it to the designer so they can make sure the correct procedures are put in place.
Got a particularly big job in mind? I’m sure we’ll be able to help. Due to our spacious workshop and extra large doors we can build frames up to a ginormous size of 2.7 metres by 2 metres.

Hang It Services has hung thousands of artworks in many of the show homes and other properties throughout London and the south east UK. Yes! In need of a printing and framing service? Then look no further! Here at All About Framing we offer a printing service in a variety of paper types. If you email us your pictures in the desired size, we can have them printed and ready for when you come to frame them.
All of our frames that are built and fitted by us are covered under a lifetime guarantee. This covers you for if the artwork slips, or the contents inside the frame come out of place.
The guarantee does not cover frames falling off the wall or dents occurring in the frame over time.
Dry mounting: What is dry mounting – Dry mounting is the process of adhering a thinner primary support (Photo paper) to a thicker sturdier support(mount board).
Its main purpose is to flatten the print so it can lay perfectly flat in the frame.
Specialised Mount Design:
Have you got something special in mind when it comes to designing the mount? Maybe you want it to fit the shape of a hat or medal? Here at All About Framing we have a computerised mount cutter which comes with the software to design and cut any shape to require!

For those of you looking for something truly unique, we offer a painting and spraying service where we can colour the frame to your exact specifications. This can be useful when trying to match a room colour scheme or when trying to complement a particular colour in the Artwork.
We can even paint frame spacers which will give your frame an explosion of colour. This can help to add depth and dimensionality to your artwork, making it more visually interesting and engaging.
