Our History
1993
Duncan McDonald begins building Bespoke Picture Frames from his garage in Beaconsfield
1997
Sunflower framing is founded and open to the public in Beaconsfield old town.
2002
DIY Framing is launched. It is one of the first companies to sell framing tools, materials and supplies online.
2004
The UK School of Framing releases its first course, teaching people how to build picture frames.
2005
The business moves to a bigger premises in Beaconsfield to handle growing demand.
2010
Responding to further increasing demand, DIY Framing moves operations to a bigger warehouse in High Wycombe.
2020
Duncan McDonald steps down as Managing Director. His son, Kieran takes over operations bringing a new vision for the company – All About Framing is born.
Now
Kieran McDonald heads the company, merging all the pre-exisiting companies into All About Framing as a single coherent entity- the “go to” for a supreme framing experience.
