It depends on size, materials, and complexity. We're happy to give a no-obligation quote before you commit.

How long does it take to make a frame?

Standard turnaround is 2 weeks. Shirts, textiles, or complex pieces may take a little longer. Simple reglazes can be quicker.

How do I order a bespoke frame?

You can order by phone, email, or in-store. Just get in touch and we'll help figure out what you need.

Water Resistant Frame Backing Tape

This tape has 3 main benefits:

Ideal for sealing the backs of picture frames in bathrooms, pool rooms or anywhere where moisture & humidity is high.

Made in Japan by Sekisui

Premium 504NS grade

Strength rating of 337

Polycoated for a water-resistant surface

Easy to shape into the rebate and frame corners

Excellent durability over wide varations of temperate

This self-adhesive Kraft tape, made in Japan by Sekisui, is the premium 504NS grade. The 70gm² brown paper has a pressure sensitive adhesive with a strength rating of 337. Surface is polycoated, to make it water resistant. It is non-slip, sticks to itself – which is important at the corners, and bumpers will stick to it. You can also write on it. Easy to shape into the rebate and corners. Excellent durability over a wide temperature range.

Although we have recommended this product for when placing picture frames in high humidity and wet locations it will only create a low level of protection. We do not recommend keeping framed artwork in wet locations.
