Description

This is a white, gummed, acid free (pH 7 neutral) paper tape – often known as hinging tape. It is coated with an acid free, water based acrylic adhesive system, which is non-ageing and therefore will not turn yellow. It also has a 70gsm acid free paper, which has not been achieved by any other archival tape to date.

It can be used in most framing projects for attaching artwork, hinging boards and so forth and has become the real “work horse” of the framing world. This gummed tape is designed to allow artwork to be released easily from the tape and is recommended for conservation standard work.
