The A1 cutting mat has a smooth surface allowing fine blades to penetrate without blunting. The gel core ensures that light, fine cuts into its surface “heal”.
It has an alignment grid on one surface. It is an ideal surface for trimming prints, cutting papers, cards and straight cuts through mountboard. It is designed for light use only, and is not suitable as a base on which to cut hardboard with a craft knife.
It also makes an ideal, clean surface on which to assemble framed pieces.
