About All About Framing

All About Framing is a specialist picture framing company offering a wide range of framing services, products, and training courses. Alongside our bespoke framing services, we run hands-on courses designed to teach people the skills involved in picture framing.

Due to growing demand for our courses, we are looking to bring on an additional Trainer to help deliver our training programme. Courses are held at our workshop in High Wycombe and typically run at weekends.

The Role

As a Course Trainer , you will deliver practical, hands-on training to small groups of students learning picture framing techniques. Our courses are designed to be educational, engaging, and enjoyable, allowing participants to gain new skills while completing a project during the day.

Trainers are expected to arrive at 9:30am to prepare the classroom. Courses run from 10:00am to 5:00pm, with the day typically finishing around 5:30pm once the classroom has been cleared down. Guidance on course delivery will be provided, although some framing experience is recommended.

Key Responsibilities

  • Setting up the classroom and materials before the course begins
  • Delivering a full day of hands-on training to groups of up to 10 students
  • Demonstrating framing techniques and guiding participants through practical tasks
  • Providing advice and answering framing-related questions from students
  • Creating a friendly, encouraging, and engaging learning environment
  • Clearing down the classroom and equipment at the end of the day

Desired Experience

  • Experience teaching, demonstrating, or mentoring practical skills is highly desirable
  • Previous picture framing experience or knowledge is beneficial but can be taught
