Types of framing we offer
Sports shirt framing
Starting from

The techniques we use nowadays are all designed to be reversible so no adhesives or tapes are used directly on the Fabric. Instead we use pins and upholstery threat which is designed to secure the fabric by looping through the tiny holes in the fabric, this way if you ever decide to take the fabric out, you can simply cut the thread and pull it through the fabric holes, leaving no sign of entry or exit.

Textiles framing
Starting from

There are a variety of methods that can be used when framing fabrics. It is key to ascertain which method would produce the best results for each particular fabric
Tape stretching – Tape stretching is ideal for delicate fabrics such as silks. Taping the fabric helps to distribute the tension evenly along the edge of the fabric. To use a heavier upholstery thread could cause damage but create a ladder effect.
Lacing – The method of attaching a fabric to a mountboard or foamcore board using a lacing thread, in order to create tension and hold the fabric taut. The fabric is stretched from side to side and top to bottom until the tension is right and the pattern/artwork looks straight and centered. Lacing is a method that can only be used on strong fabrics and is ideal for conservation and museum standards of framing because it does not damage the fabric.

Prints, posters & photographs
Starting from

Framing not only protects your artwork from damage, it also enhances its appearance and can even help it last longer.
When it comes to framing 2D artwork you have the ability to add as much or as little as you like, this is where the technique of mounting can create the difference between a standard frame and a frame that creates the vibes for a room.
Single Mount
A single aperture mount is designed to protect and display pictures/artwork preferably in a picture frame behind glass.
Double Mount
A double mount is when two aperture mounts are stacked on top of each other with the bottom mount protruding a few millimetres beyond the top one. This technique is used when the framer is trying to pick out a colour within the picture. By selecting the bottom mount colour that complements the colours in the chosen picture, it will attract human eyes towards the highlighted colour.
Shadow Float mount
When an image or piece of art is floated on a foam core board in order to create the illusion that the artwork is floating.
Shadow Mount
A spacer is hidden under the top mount to create a gap between the top mount and the image or bottom mount. It is used to create depth suitable for framing objects or to purely create a greater perspective of the artwork.
We also offer multiple aperture framing, details below this section
