Lifetime Guarantee Terms and Conditions

This Lifetime Guarantee Statement (hereinafter referred to as “the Guarantee”) applies to bespoke picture framing services provided by DIY Framing Limited, trading as All About Framing hereinafter referred to as “the Company”). 

Coverage:

In addition to your statutory rights on purchasing a bespoke frame from us, we offer a lifetime guarantee on our workmanship and materials: It covers defects in materials and workmanship in the unlikely event of the frame becoming unusable or unsatisfactory. But please note that this excludes damage caused by misuse, neglect, or accident in your care.

The Guarantee covers the following aspects of your framed artwork:

  1. Artwork Slipping: We guarantee that the artwork within the frame will remain securely in place and will not slip or shift.
  2. Internal Frame Failures: We guarantee the structural integrity of the internal framing components, ensuring they remain sound and sturdy.
  3. Material Discoloring and Warping: We assure that the materials used in framing your artwork will not discolour or warp under normal and proper display conditions.
  4. Dust Build-Up in the Frame: We guarantee that there will be no excessive accumulation of dust or debris within the frame, affecting the visibility or appearance of your artwork.
  5. Hanging Fixings Failure: We guarantee that the hanging fixings we provide attached to the frame will remain securely attached to the frame, allowing for safe and secure display. (This does not include fixings attached to the wall)

Exclusions:

This Guarantee does not cover the following:

  1. Accidental Damage: The Guarantee does not extend to damage caused by accidents, mishandling, or any other unintended incidents.
  2. Dents and Chips on the Outside of the Frame: Any dents, chips, or damage to the external surface of the frame, which occur after the framing service has been completed, are not covered by this Guarantee.
  3. Wall Fixing Failure: The Guarantee does not cover issues related to the attachment of the frame to the wall, including the failure of any wall fixings. You are responsible for attaching your own fixings to the wall, and any related problems or failures are not covered under this Guarantee.
  4. Environment: The Guarantee does not cover damage, discolouration or failure arising  from installation in an unsuitable environment.

Conditions:

In order for this Guarantee to remain valid, the following conditions must be met:

  1. Proof of Purchase: You must retain your original proof of purchase, which will serve as evidence of the framing service provided by the Company.
  2. Proper Care: You are responsible for ensuring that your framed artwork is properly maintained and displayed. This includes protecting it from exposure to extreme temperatures, moisture, direct sunlight, or any conditions that may cause harm to the frame or the artwork.
  3. Immediate Reporting: Any issues or concerns regarding the covered aspects of your framed artwork must be reported to the Company within 30 days of their discovery. Failure to do so may result in the Guarantee becoming void.
  4. Company Inspection: The Company reserves the right to inspect the framed artwork to assess the validity of any claims made under this Guarantee.
  5. Company’s Discretion: The Company will make reasonable efforts to repair or replace any frame that is found to be in violation of this Guarantee. However, the Company’s decision on whether to repair, replace, or refund will be made at its sole discretion.
  6. Return to store: You must be able to return it to the store(High Wycombe). We are unable to arrange courier or collection services.

Transferability:

This Guarantee is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser of the framing services.

Duration:

The duration of our lifetime guarantee at All About Framing is a testament to our commitment to the quality of our bespoke picture framing services. We want you to have peace of mind when you choose us for your framing needs. Our lifetime guarantee spans a remarkable 25 years, ensuring that your framed artwork remains a source of pride and beauty for years to come.

Entire Agreement:

These terms and conditions constitute the entire agreement between you and the Company with respect to the Lifetime Guarantee and supersedes all prior agreements, understandings, and representations, whether written or oral.

Amendments:

The Company reserves the right to amend or modify these terms and conditions at any time. Any changes will be posted on our website and will apply to all framing services provided after the date of amendment.

By availing of our bespoke picture framing services and accepting this Lifetime Guarantee, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms and conditions. Your satisfaction is our priority, and we are committed to providing you with quality framing that stands the test of time.

How to make a claim procedure:

 Step 1: Notify us by email

Send us an email confirming the following:

  • Your full name (of the person who placed the order)
  • The job order number (Found on the back of a frame)
  • A description of the issue that has occurred with the frame
  • Attach photos of the issue so we can clearly see it.
  • Details of how to contact yourself

 Step 2: We will arrange an appointment for you to come in and have the artwork inspected.

Step 3: Our expert framers will confirm that the criteria has been met and will book the job in for processing.

Step 4: It will take 1-2 weeks to repair, replace or refund the job depending on its state.
