www.allaboutframing.com is a portal for six elements to our business that have been developed over 20 years there are separate T&C’s on each website in addition to here.

  1. Diyframing – When clicking on this tab you will be taken to our shop https://shop.diyframing.com/ where tools, materials and courses can be purchased.
  2. Learn to Frame – links from this navigation will let you explore the courses we offer and the information and videos on how to frame which are in our library. If you wish to purchase courses just follow the Buy Now button and you will be linked to the appropriate course on the diyframing shop where the transaction can be made.
  3. Online framing – When clicking on this tab you will be taken to our online framing shop where to can have photos printed mounted and framed on our unique software.
  4. Stores – When clicking on this tab you will have all the information about our All About Framing Retail stores and our Trade Counter.
  5. Hanging Systems – When clicking on this tab you will be taken to our shop www.hangingsystems.com where you can purchase Stas hanging systems
  6. Manufacturing – Here you will receive information about our Trade manufacturing service and our FrameIT production management system.

All website details, including prices, are subject to change and notification of any relevant changes will be given to the buyer following receipt of an order. The buyer will subsequently be offered the opportunity to cancel or amend the order. All prices shown are correct at the time of publication. DIYframing Ltd endeavours to maintain good customer service. However, we have the right to refuse an order and any liability for failure to deliver in good time is not within our control once the goods have left the warehouse.

Cancelling an order

If you accidentally place an order or have just changed your mind, don’t worry. You can cancel or amend you order right up until the point that we start to process it. Please telephone us as soon as possible. If we have already processed a chop service then we regret that cancellation is not permitted.

For most goods delivered we allow our customers 30 days under the Distance selling regulations to be able to return them for a full refund of the value of goods supplied as long as they are goods that have not been in some way made or adapted to a bespoke size or quantity. A full refund of the cost of the goods will be made once they have been returned safety and in resalable condition. If the goods are returned longer that 30 days after receipt a restocking charge of 10% will apply.

When receiving a delivery

When your order arrives please inspect the package for any damage to the exterior of the parcel before signing for it. If the parcel appears damaged please sign the carriers documents as ‘damaged’ and retain all packaging until you are sure that the goods are all intact. Professional equipment is despatched on pallets and it is very important that if there is any damage to the pallet when received that you make a note of this on the carriers paperwork before signing for receipt. If you have received an order on a pallet from us and the pallet is damaged please retain it until you are sure the contents are not at all damaged.

Return of a damaged, defective or incorrect item

What you need to do
In all cases please contact us first (within 48 hours of receipt of the goods) before returning any items

If your delivery contents were damaged in transit please call us on 01494 459545 asap and make sure you retain the packaging or damaged pallet as applicable.

If the item develops a fault or arrives faulty you have the right to return the item within a reasonable length of time, please keep any receipts and warranty information, as this will be needed to deal with your return.

We only accept the return of stas hanging systems rail in exceptional circumstances and there is a 10% restocking charge on stas products.

If we send you an item which you did not order as soon as you find out we have sent you an incorrect item please contact us on 01494 459545

We will despatch the correct item as soon as possible and arrange for the incorrect item to either be collected or will ask you to post it back to us. We will refund any postal charge you incur should we instruct you to post the item back to us.

The website is our catalogue at the moment but there is some literature available of some specific tools and materials. If you need to discuss any products then please do not hesitate to get in touch – just contact us by telephone or email.

Buying online

The All About Framing website is a portal for all our services at Diyframing, UK School of Framing, Photoframer and Hangingsystems.com the menu will take you to the necessary location by opening another tab on your browser. Each website has its own specific payment system for example if you purchase any product in the Diyframing shop (Which includes courses) you will have to checkout and pay for that before going to either the Photo-framer store or the hangingsystems.com store.

Collecting Your Order From Store

There is an option on all three online shops to collect from the store the options can be found when checking out.

Using Discount Codes & Vouchers

Codes and vouchers for discounts should be entered during the checkout process.

Visiting the Store to buy Moulding or Sheet Materials

We offer larger sheet materials and longer moulding lengths up to 3m in store but these items are not available to purchase online.
You are welcome to visit our showroom, where you can browse and choose moulding and buy in full lengths or purchase any shorter lengths we have in stock.
We would advise you purchase the full length where possible to get the most out of the moulding. Some lengths are not full 3m lengths and we cannot cut moulding down to leave less than 1 metre. You are welcome to choose from shorter lengths where available in the bays, if you want specific sizes you can order moulding using our Chop Service.

We are quite happy to cut moulding lengths into half or take a metre off the end to fit in your vehicle. We can cut Larson Juhl mountboard down to size but there would be a charge, we do offer small sheet sizes in the Britannia mountboard range and smaller backing boards in store & online.

Courses – Terms and Conditions

  1. Classes will run with a minimum of 5 people
  2. Students will normally be contacted 7 days prior to the start of the course to confirm:
  • the course will run as planned
  • dates, times and venues are unchanged
  • contact details of trainers
  • travel details
  • reminder of items to bring along

It is up to the student to contact us if they have not received a final confirmation email to check that a course is definitely running.

3. Refunds are made in full if the course is cancelled by DIYframing
4. Where a student cancels, the following applies

  • 14 days (or more) prior to the course – a new date can be arranged, otherwise students will receive a full refund.
  • Less than 14 days before a course – no refund of fees but a new date can be arranged by mutual agreement with DIYframing Ltd.
  • On day of course – no refund & full fees retained by DIYframing Ltd

Students are responsible for bringing items as requested to complete projects.

Carriage Costs (excluding vat)

Carriage is calculated on a weight and location basis.

We can ship our products worldwide till 1st April 2019 and currently have specific carriage rates for shipping items to the following countries:

United Kingdom & Ireland

For deliveries to the Scotland, Northern Ireland & any islands within the UK, we apply an additional cost to the standard carriage rates in accordance with our couriers rates.

All other countries fall under “Rest of the World”

PLEASE NOTE international carriage is only available at present from www.diyframing.com as of 1st April 2019 we will no longer be fulfilling international orders if you do order then we will contact you regarding cancelling and refunding, due to rising costs of shipping and time it takes to fulfil international parcels it has been deemed not viable to sustain this option.

Moving forward & after this website closes only orders to the UK or Ireland will be available via the new website shop.diyframing.com


The cost of delivery is £2.50 for orders under 0.2kg & £4.33 between 0.2kg & 0.5kg in weight provided delivery is within the mainland England & Wales with orders being sent via Royal Mail 1st Class Post.
Orders weighing between 0.5kg & 0.9kg will be charged at £7.50.
Anything between 1kg & 20 kg will cost £9.50 for delivery to England & Wales with orders being sent via APC Overnight.
There is an additional surcharge to all orders to Scotland, all borders & lower mainland the Highlands & Islands. Additional charges may apply based on postcode. Additional charges apply to Northern Ireland, EIRE, Isle of Man & Isle of Wight

For deliveries over 20 kilos within the United Kingdom and deliveries outside these areas the online order system calculates the cost of shipping taking into account the total weight of the items ordered and the delivery area.


Delivery timescales

When will my order ship and when will it arrive?

  • Orders are typically dispatched same working day if ordered before 12pm or next working day if ordered after 12pm. (Monday to Friday only) – Please note during busy periods this cannot be guaranteed.
  • If there is a delay to dispatch of your order, we will contact you via email or phone.
  • Please note we do not work bank holidays. Orders placed on a bank holiday, or after 12pm on a working day before a bank holiday, will be dispatched the next working day.
  • For Express delivery or time sensitive orders, contact us at sales@allaboutframing.com or call 01494 459545.
  • Carrier method will be determined by value & size. If the order contains moulding or mountboard or the value is over £50 it will be sent by APC Overnight (with tracking) If order contains smaller items and is under £50 it will be sent by Royal Mail 1st Class Post (no tracking).
  • All orders shipped by APC will need to be signed for on delivery (unless delivery instruction has been added) and dispatched from High Wycombe in Buckinghamshire.
  • Please note not all instructions can be followed by the APC or Royal Mail
  • Shipment Tracking information is automatically delivered to the email address provided with your customer account
  • We cannot accept any liability in the case of failure by the couriers to deliver on any specified day.

*for chop services, 500 x 400 pre sized, kit orders & large quantity orders, please allow at least 2-3 extra working days for despatch.

Take the A4010 exit at the handy cross roundabout (junction 4 of the M40) into John Hall Way, go straight across the first mini roundabout and turn right at the next roundabout into Cressex Link. Continue forward going straight on at traffic lights and take the 2 turning on the left into Halifax Road. Proceed for about 100 metres (you will see the Booker store ahead of you) and take the first right into Stirling Road. Taking the second entrance turning right between the blue posts into Crusader Industrial Estate and Unit 2 is the second unit from the right . You will see the ‘DIYframing Ltd’ designated parking spaces on either side of the road.
